DBin
DBin is a Semantic Web platform which provides a rich environment for browsing and editing large RDF datasets and a series of information channels to share and cooperatively build distributed knowledge in the form of RDF data. The main channel is a topic group based P2P network, backed by an efficient algorithm for RDF databases synchronization (RDFGrowth).
DBin implementation has been driven by the research work developed at Semedia group at Università Politecnica delle Marche and has been demonstrated at various international specialized conferences and applied in a wealth of diverse real world use cases.
DBin is a complete general tool that can be configured to approach different fields as:
- Public authority: cooperative annotations of norms, deadlines, announcements, etc..
- Business sector: projects, products, etc..
- Research/management environment: deadlines, projects, publications.
