GruppoImola Tech Trends is born! It is an overview of all GruppoImola’s research activities, a widening of technological topics that at the moment arouse our interests and take up much of our time.

In the Wiki you find the possible environments that we will have to manage with in the near future; an excellent means to have a preview of what we have to expect and of which technologies, still not worldwide visible, are rising and evolving; a way to get in touch with who shares our same interest: Semantic Web, SOA: Service Oriented Architecture, Web 2.0, Enterprise 2.0.

The authors of the contributions present on GruppoImola Tech Trends are consultants or academicians with multi-year experience in both research and industrial application fields.

 

The opening of GruppoImola Blog, the GruppoImola’s Blog, is of recent date, too.

How is GruppoImola developing?
The experiences and the successes actually performed by the group are announced in the Blog. We believe that a few technologies, that till short ago were only of academic interest, are going to be the next epochal technological improvement: in the Blog you can find the confirmations that we already have, the next steps that we are going to perform, doubts and reflections on the state of the art and the possible applications.

The highly innovative Sensible Logic DBin platform has been invited for presentation at the top level research meeting such as the W3C Plenary Tech (March 2006 - http://esw.w3.org/topic/SwigAtTp2006 ) and at the Word Wide Web conference (May 2006 - www2006.org) and is the key technology in a number of upcoming IST and national projects (E.G. the Discovery project in the eContentPlus framework).
